This is a grant request for 500,000 PDEX from the Polkadex Treasury for infrastructure maintenance and development expenses. This funds will be held by a multisig wallet of 5 existing and previous council members. None of the Polkadex core contributors belong to this multisig. The funds will be supervised fully by the council to handle ongoing development. These funds will be released to support development on a monthly basis, upon 80% approval vote, after a satisfactory review by the council.

This funding will help Polkadex complete the important tasks outlined in its [roadmap](https://polkadex.trade/roadmap). This is the first time Polkadex development will be funded and directly monitored by the Polkadex Council, aligning with the ongoing plan towards further decentralisation.


**Budget Allocation**
- Development Costs: The majority of the budget will be used for development to meet the roadmap goals.
- Operational Costs: Roughly 1/4th of this funding will cover AWS and other license fees.


**Future Considerations**

Once the Polkadex DAO is established, the license fees and infrastructure costs will be separated from the development and maintenance costs.
