I am writing to address an important matter that requires our attention. Over the past months, we have been closely monitoring the local channels performance metrics. It is with a heavy heart that I must share that the metrics and performance indicators have fallen short (not enough new members joining &amp; barely any engagement in the communities). While these metrics can be partially attributed to the timing of the program and delays to the product timeline, they still highlight an inefficient spend of Polkadex treasury funds.
Due to the above, and considering the original treasury spend period has now ended and the funds allocated to this program have now been depleted, we&rsquo;ve taken the decision to not renew the program in its original form going forward. As a result of this and in accordance with the contractually agreed upon 1 month notice period, we will be discontinuing the following language-based Community Moderator roles on September 19th 2023:
Spanish French German India Chinese Russian
In the next few days, the Polkadex Core Contributors will file an on-chain treasury proposal to cover funding up until September 22th for all original program functions. This proposal will also include longer term funding for 2 English channel Community Moderators and an Ambassador Lead to coordinate the Ambassador Program going forward.
We encourage the community and current local moderators to stay involved with the Polkadex community and file their own proposals with comprehensive value propositions and metrics in order to earn the support of the Polkadex community in the form of further treasury funding. Thank you!

Restructuring of Community Roles

- The performance metrics of the local channels have not been good.
- The program that was funding the language-based Community Moderator roles will not be renewed.
- The Community Moderator roles for Spanish, French, German, India, Chinese, and Russian will be discontinued on September 19th, 2023.
- There will be a proposal to cover funding for the original program functions until September 22nd and to fund English channel Community Moderators and an Ambassador Lead.
- The community and current moderators are encouraged to file their own proposals to earn further funding.
